  We had a great time staying in this unit. My mom and I had an excellent, relaxing time in Maui--much needed for both of us. My only comment would be that there were no curtains or window coverings in the living room and it tended to get hot in the afternoon. Otherwise, 100% enjoyable!

  We really enjoyed our stay at Kihei Akahi D-612. The view is spectacular (lots of sunset pictures). The unit was clean, very comfortable, and the kitchen had everything we needed. The bedroom and bathroom in the unit are clean but are not as nice as the rest of unit. The location is awesome. Kam II beach is across the street from the condo complex and there are plenty of restaurants and shops within easy walking distance.

  We had a great time at Kihei Akahi D612! Very clean and nicely furnished. Awesome view and also really close to the beach. Many great restaurants within walking distance, and central location for driving to many of Maui's famous highlights. Highly recommend this to others!

  Very nice condo. Needs better cleaning, specially in the kitchen and bathroom. New cutlery. All your rental units should have proper cleaning equipment available.I would love to rent D612 again (for 5 weeks next time) if there will be improvements.

    Guest was right!!!! We let our housekeeper go shortly after this stay; hired a new crew who went in and did a huge deep clean. It is now back on track and we are very sorry that the condo was not sparkling clean for this guest.

  Upon arrival we had to do some serious house cleaning. Also the pots and pans were very old and inadequate.
  With better house cleaning and better cooking utensils, we would highly recommend this condo and be back ourselves.

  The only thing was the floors were dirty and you had to wear shoes at all times or wash your feet before you go to bed. The rest of the unit was very clean with lots of handy things to use while we stayed there.
  The pool was very nice and BBQ so handy to use. Location was near to every thing and always a cross breeze to cool off the condo in early morning and late evening. Loved our stay for our 40th wedding anniversary and would love to return at the first chance we get.

    Congratulations on your 40th wedding anniversary and thank you for the nice review! Just a note on the floors; our housekeeping staff is exceptional but the floors get dusty so quickly with the Kihei tradewinds blowing every day that even daily cleanings would not produce better results! Also, the tile in this unit is designed to look "aged" like a Tuscan tile floor but we promise it IS clean!

  Terrific unit. Excellent view. Plenty of extra ammenities.
  Only 2 issues. 1)Bathroom tap leaks badly. 2) Next door neighbor is in the midst of a full unit renovation. Very loud noises starting at 8am everyday, even through the cement walls! Would of been appreciated if we were told this would be going on and there would be no chance of sleeping past 8am anyday of our vacation. At least we'd have the option to look at staying in another unit.

  I was in Kihei, but not for business or pleasure. The rooms at Kihei Akahei were sufficient. I was annoyed that although the room came with a wireless router for internet, I still had to plug in a network cable as I found no apparent key to sign in (nor did I ask)
