D-102 has a GREAT location at the very end of the main floor in the coveted D building at Kihei Akahi. You get exceptional privacy and quiet, yet you are a couple of minutes in walking time to Kamaole II, a wonderful white sand beach. This spacious 2-bedroom, 2-bath condo has a garden view with a peek-a-boo view of the beautiful Pacific Ocean.

This condo can sleep up to 6 people with a queen bed (a Beautyrest pillowtop mattress), twin beds, and a queen sofabed in the living area. The fully equipped peninsula kitchen with custom cabinetry is open to the living area making entertaining irresistible, especially with the oversized lanai (balcony) open on two sides to the tropical breezes. A desk area with FREE high-speed Internet keeps your computer off the dining room table. The unit has cable TV, DVD/VCR, stereo, phone, and its own washer/dryer.

New carpeting and linens in the bedrooms are complemented by ceramic tile floors throughout the rest of the unit, with designer paint set off by sparkling white millwork and 6-panel interior doors. Ceiling fans in the bedrooms and living area keep those Maui breezes moving, but there is also an air conditioner in the living area for those unusually hot days. Halogen track lights add drama in the kitchen and entry hall.

The popular Kihei Akahi complex has two pools, barbecue grills, and a tennis court. Reserved parking is just outside your front door. Fabulous Kamaole II Beach is directly across the street from Kihei Akahi. Its sand is white and fine like powder, and the blue ocean waters are inviting year 'round.

Enjoy your days relaxing on the beach or partake in the many water activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, boogie-boarding and more. There is a lot to do in the Kihei area -- restaurants, shopping, live entertainment, world-class golfing -- and much is within walking distance of your unit!

Year-round rate range is $135 - $275 nightly depending upon party size and dates of visit. Cleaning fee ranges from $125 to $160, also depending upon party size.

My only complaint was the heat and humidity. Surprised at both. The locals said it had been that way for 3 weeks. I Appreciated all the "free stuff' stocked for our use, the full kitchen, the 2 baths, free phone use, free computer hook-up, etc...I would certainly recommend it to friends and family. The difference was sadly obvious when we stayed a week @ Ka'anapali Beach Club north of Lahaina for the rest of our stay. The only thing better was the pool and room temperature, otherwise bah humbug. The mega resort charges you for any and everything. Computer use ($0.20) per minute, phone use(0.85) Laundry use cost ($1.50 per wash) and on and on...Some Front desk people were actually rude when asked a question. If I make it back to Maui, I know where I'll be. Thanks You just need more AC units for sleeping comfort!

My younger and brother and I visited Hawai'i for three weeks. Our last week was spent in Maui where we stayed at Ahaki Kihei Condo (D-102). We arrived and the condo was immaculate. The property was nice and clean, the grounds were kept well and the location was fantastic. It was central to everything we did (Jet Skiing, Parasailing, Helicopter Tour, Blue Water Rafting, Restaurants, etc). Had a fantastic time and will most definitely be visiting again next year. Thanks so much.

Every thing in the condo was great the air flow through the room was terrific we didn't have to turn the ac on once. The beds were comfortable, the water toys were useful and the beach chairs were used every day (one was broken) the living room and dining room furniture was not good for relaxing after the beach, dated and uncomfortable and the TV was smaller than we are used to. the location was very handy to the beach, the best restaraunts in kihei, 808 bistro and cafe o'lei, moose's (showed all the hockey games!) maui taco's were all easy walks. the kitchen was sevicable and big enough for two people to work in made breakfast easy. The suppers that we did cook at home were mostly done on the excellant BBQ's by the pool. All in all we would book this unit again.

This was a nice place. It wasn't super special, and there were some bugs, but I think there are in most places. We had a bit of a view, and it was conveniently located across from a nice beach.
