A well-priced 2-bedroom Kihei Akahi condo just minutes from a white sandy beach! B-203 doesn't have an ocean view, but it has a very nice garden view and is just a 3-minute walk to one of Kihei's most popular beaches, Kamaole II. Traveling with another couple or tired of tripping over kids on the sofabed? This unit offers you a spacious two bedrooms in a wonderful complex and a great location at a rate that can't be beat!

The unit can sleep up to 6 people. The master bedroom has a queen bed, the second bedroom offers twin beds, and there is a queen sofabed in the living area. All the furnishings are in good condition in a wicker/tropical style. Plus two separate bathrooms, two TVs with cable, free high-speed Internet, and a nice outdoor lanai (balcony) overlooking the garden area of Kihei Akahi. A fully equipped and beautifully upgraded kitchen and a washer/dryer in the unit allows you to have a comfortable, affordable holiday with your family.** Please note that B-203 is on the second floor of a 2-story building, and the building has no elevators.

The popular Kihei Akahi complex has two pools, tennis court and barbecues. Directly across the street is one of Maui's best beach parks, Kamaole Beach II. The sand is white and fine like powder, and the beautiful blue Pacific is inviting all year round.

Enjoy your days relaxing on the beach or partake in the many water activities such as snorkeling, kayaking, boogie-boarding and more. There is a lot to do -- great shopping, restaurants, live entertainment and world class golfing -- and much is within walking distance of your unit.

This was a great condo was in great condition. The only draw back was that there was no air conditioning. The evenings were cool so there was not porblem at night. The afternoons were hot though.

I would stay here again. You cannot beat the location.

the location is GREAT as regards: pool access, beach access, shops, restaurants, quiet location, beautiful lawns and greenery, carpark, etc.The home was clean and in good shape, yes. We cooked most of our meals there and all we needed was supplied in the kitchen. There were plenty of extra fans which were useful for a day or two until we became acclimatised. The condo. is on the shady side of the complex which is good if the weather is really hot. However, there is plenty of light coming into the place.
One criticism: bed-linens are old and definitely new sets of sheets for the beds should be purchased. I saw this comment by previous tennants so I hope the owners will comply.

We were thrilled with all the float noodles, boards, snorkel gear and other items that were available to us in the condo. The grounds were always clean, as was the pool and surrounding area. The public beaches were so close and easy to get to. We had a great stay!

We loved being able to walk across the street to the beach and having the beach chairs, umbrella, etc.
The inside of the kitchen cupboard was sticky and so were other things in cupboard. The carpet needs to be cleaned or replaced. The rest of the unit was perfect. We felt it was a good value for the price.
South Maui Condo

We have previously stayed in Napili in northwestern Maui but we much preferred this Kihei location. Dryer, less wind with many great beaches starting here and going south. The Kihei Akahi is in a very good location just across the road from Kamaole II beach, good for families. Hawaii Vacation Rentals were friendly, professional and helpful. South Kihei Road can be busy but is two lanes and the speed limit is low. The condo is set back from the road so was quiet. It has a garden view, no ocean view but it is so close that's no issue. The complex is older (1970's) and the unit is showing some of its age, nothing a little maintenance wouldn't fix. The pool we used was OK, there are 2 BBQs (one was broken) and a decent tennis court. If you want a good basic 2 bed/2 full bath condo with a well-equipped decent kitchen, washer/dryer and nice big screen TV in a great location then this works.
PS.. go to and navigate to the aerial shot of the condo (or use Google Earth). Their Maui Revealed guide book is very good.

We love Maui and Kihei is a great location. Of all the condo's we have stayed in at Kihei Akahi, B203 wasn't top of the list, but it was nice enough. The only concern was stains on the sheets. The bedding seemed to be a bit grungy. Other than that, everything was fine.
